Classic Alice Begins Its Next Chapter August 5th

With filming to begin next month, the Classic Alice team announces the show’s expected release date.

Preparations are well underway for the team behind Classic Alice to begin filming next month. The cast and crew had a table read and the cast took some publicity stills for the next rotation of books. The team is proud to announce that the expected release date for “Classic Alice” is August 5th 2014!


Classic Alice does not run in seasons, but rather follows the story of Alice Rackham living her life usinCAHeadshotGraphicHighResg classic literature as an example. With this in mind, the previously announced twenty-four episodes will be split across six different books. Creator and star Kate Hackett says, “I cannot wait for everyone to see the incredible amount of work and love that went into this arc – we have lots of surprises in store for you!”


The team has also added some new faces in front of the camera who are all delighted to be a part of this new chapter. Pygmalion and The Butterfly will begin the new set of episodes, but fans will have to wait for the surprises in store for them as each of the other new books is revealed in the coming weeks.


ABOUT CLASSIC ALICE A webseries from Kate Hackett Productions in association with BAM!Produced. Inc., Classic Alice is the story of college student Alice Rackham. When she receives a bad grade on an essay, she partners with her friend Andrew to film a documentary about living her life according to classic literature. In the first season Alice lived according to Crime and Punishment. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, season 2 will see Alice live by Pygmalion, The Butterfly, and Beyond!
