Los Angeles, California: After a successful Kickstarter campaign earlier this year, and with Season 2 well on its way to begin filming this summer, The Classic Alice team has announced some changes to its already stellar production team. With Season 1 producer, Aaron Kaiser, moving on to work on other projects, the Classic Alice production team is excited to announce Lex Edelman of BAM!Produced. stepping into the role of producer. The team has also added Dana Shaw as their transmedia producer and Katie Moest to work in the set and art department. Kate Hackett, star and creator, remains in her prior position, as does director Josh Compton.
The team is extremely excited to start this new chapter and begin Season 2 with some fresh eyes. They are ready to begin filming their newest epsiodes this summer and are extremely excited to see what great things this new team can do. As previously announced, Season 2 will include two new classics, Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw, and as chosen by fans of the show, The Butterfly by Hans Christian Andersen. However, fans were in for a special treat when Hackett announced that instead of the anticipated two-book arc, they could expect twenty-four all new episodes.
Classic Alice season 2 promises to be a wonderful trip into the world of classic literature as Alice Rackham takes stories and applies them to her own life. With the additions of Lex, Katie, and Dana to the team, as well as the help of a few new interns, this next season is shaping up to be a great experience for the cast, crew and, most importantly, the viewers.
A webseries from Kate Hackett Productions in association with BAM!Produced. Inc., Classic Alice is the story of college student Alice Rackham. When she receives a bad grade on an essay, she partners with her friend Andrew to film a documentary about living her life according to classic literature. In the first season Alice lived according to Crime and Punishment. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, season 2 will see Alice live by Pygmalion, The Butterfly, and Beyond!
